Renaissance Portraits are full-color prints, with complete and elaborate backgrounds. They are printed incomplete, allowing the patron's face to be hand-drawn directly onto the print.

These portraits are fine-art reproductions printed on illustration-quality, acid-free vellum. The original drawings (from which the prints were made) and the faces are done by the same artist using the same materials; the transition from print to drawing is seamless.

Photographs should be similar to the ones on this page; that is, a full-frontal head shot of the female or a 3/4-turned head shot of the male. These do not have to be professional head shots, but they must be clear (not hidden in the shadows) and at least 5" X 7". They must also be in color.
You can also e-mail a digital picture, according to the same criteria.
